WINERY
Located on the west coast of Lake Garda, 10 hectares wide and spread over three different municipalities at an altitude 350 meters above sea level, the Trevisani Farm was founded in 1961 by Guiseppe “Peppino”and Diana Trevisani, pioneers for choosing unusual vines for the area, and for breaking the rules of appropriate timing for planting. Since 1979, brothers Gian Pietro and Mauro have led business operations for the winery, strictly following the philosophy set forth by their parents. They focus on working in the vineyard year-round; from pruning to thinning, their concentrated efforts are the foundation for creating choice wines – most of which are exported to the United States.
In 1991, the winery was equipped with modern technologies of vinification; the underground aging room was filled with oak barrels, along with maintaining the tradition of filling the floor and arches with red bricks. In 1994, a farmhouse restaurant opened for guests to enjoy typical regional dishes paired with Trevisani wines.
